Attorney Patrick Giese Elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates

Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC is pleased to announce that Partner Patrick Giese has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Membership in this organization is available only by invitation, and it demonstrates that an attorney has achieved the highest levels of recognition from their peers due to their professionalism, integrity, and dedication to protecting people's rights to civil jury trials. Members are required to have at least five years of experience as trial lawyers, and they must have tried at least 10 cases to conclusion. ABOTA's mission is to protect the right to trial by jury, foster judicial independence, and ensure that litigants have effective representation in civil cases.
Patrick Giese has been practicing law at Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC since the firm was founded in 2013, and he became a parter at the firm in 2019. He has extensive experience representing clients in complex personal injury cases involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence. He has helped numerous clients obtain multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements, and he has also successfully handled multiple types of appeals.
Patrick has also received numerous awards, and he is involved in a variety of legal organizations and charitable activities. He was named a Top 40 Under 40 Attorney by Chicago Law Bulletin in 2016. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2014 to 2020 and he was selected by the Leading Lawyers Network as an Emerging Lawyer from 2015 to 2020. He is actively involved in the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and he has made presentations on a variety of topics for these and other organizations. He also sits on the auxiliary board of Lawyers-Lend-A-Hand to youth, which provides resources to disadvantaged children in Chicago.
