Tim Tomasik to Moderate ABOTA Civility CLE Program in Partnership with the Chicago Bar Association

Chicago, IL - November 14, 2018

American Board of Trial Advocates Attorney Timothy S. Tomasik, a founding member of Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC, will be moderating a seminar on civility at the Chicago Bar Association. The seminar, which is presented by the Chicago Bar Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), is titled "The Case for Civility," and it will take place on November 28, 2018, from 3:00 PM to 5:10 PM.

The seminar will focus on how attorneys can maintain civility and integrity while still zealously advocating for their clients. Real-life examples of how to identify and avoid incivility will be provided by the speakers, attorneys Aurora Austriaco and Bruce R. Pfaff and Circuit Court of Cook County Judges Hon. Claire McWilliams and Hon. Allen Walker. The seminar will also feature opening remarks from Illinois Supreme Court Justice Anne M. Burke. CBA President Steve Elrod will be welcoming the attendees and introducing Justice Burke.

Mr. Tomasik is the Treasurer of the CBA and President-Elect of ABOTA Chicago.

Through this seminar, attorneys can learn how to maintain their reputation while remaining civil during disputed issues or cases, which will ultimately lead to reduced stress and a profitable legal practice. The seminar provides 2 IL Professional Responsibility MCLE credits, subject to approval. It will take place at the Chicago Bar Association, located at 321 S. Plymouth Ct., Chicago, IL 60604.
