Tim Tomasik to Participate in Panel Discussion on the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program
October 12, 2022
On Thursday, October 13, 2022, Attorney Tim Tomasik will be participating in a panel discussion at the Chicago-Kent College of Law that will address litigation issues related to the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. Vaccine litigation has become an important issue in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Individuals who suffer injuries after receiving certain vaccines may receive compensation through the no-fault Vaccine Program. However, these cases can be very complex, and they may involve issues related to immunology and other factors. The panel discussion will review the issues that attorneys may need to address during litigation related to vaccinations and vaccine-related injuries.
In addition to Mr. Tomasik, panelists will include Judge Patricia Campbell-Smith of the United States Court of Federal Claims, Chief Special Master Brian Corcoran, Chicago-Kent Professor Ed Kraus, and Heather Pearlman, the Deputy Director of the Torts Branch of the Department of Justice. The event, which is sponsored by the Chicago Bar Association, is complimentary. To register to attend, please visit the website for the Chicago-Kent College of Law Office of Continuing Legal Education.
