Timothy S. Tomasik Appointed to Illinois Supreme Court Committee

Attorney Timothy S. Tomasik, a founding partner of Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC, has been appointed to serve on the Illinois Supreme Court's Committee on the Illinois Rules of Evidence. His responsibilities will include researching, studying, and reviewing Illinois Appellate Court and Supreme Court cases that may impact the laws regarding evidence in Illinois. The Illinois Rules of Evidence were codified in 2011 to improve the trial process as well as the quality of justice in Illinois. Tim and his colleagues on the committee will work to ensure that the Rules of Evidence continue be easily accessible and authoritative source while increasing the efficiency of Illinois courts. Mr. Tomasik's term will run from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027.
Mr. Tomasik is a Past President if the Chicago Bar Association, Past President of the Illinois Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a member of the International Society of Barristers Board of Governors, and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
